I myself don’t know much about the Mahabharata but the show makes it easy to follow the story and understand the emotions, conflicts and philosophies behind the war. Episodes 10 to 14 and 17 are the best of this part - they are full of emotional depth, intense battles and powerful dialogues.These episodes are the essence of the Mahabharata war and will keep you hooked. Episodes 15, 16 and 18 are still good but have pacing issues - at times the narrative feels slow or dragging....

Even if you don’t know the epic well, it’s still Engaging. The series has 9 episodes, each around 22 minutes long excluding titles, intros and end credits. The storytelling is non linear and the scene to scene transitions are excellent. The story is narrated by Sanjaya who witnesses the great Kurukshetra war and brings a unique perspective to the narrative. The animation is good and the visuals are great. But if you are an anime fan you might find some things lacking compared to traditional anime. The series has some pacing issues but they are minor and don’t overshadow the good parts.
