The storytelling is non linear and the scene to scene transitions are excellent. The story is narrated by Sanjaya who witnesses the great Kurukshetra war and brings a unique perspective to the narrative. The animation is good and the visuals are great. But if you are an anime fan you might find some things lacking compared to traditional anime. The series has some pacing issues but they are minor and don’t overshadow the good parts.
